Yes, that is totally normal. Pagels ship frozen and thaw in transit. Please make sure you slice and refreeze them as soon as they arrive.

We recommend thawing them at room temperature for 20-30 mins before toasting until they are golden.

Pagels can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days, but for optimal freshness, we recommend keeping them frozen until you are ready to enjoy.

Our primary ingredient is Cassava flour, made from the root of the Cassava plant, which is high in resistant starch. This is a type of starch that evades digestion; this is what makes a starch “resistant. As a result Cassava is known to have a low glycemic index and may have minimal blood sugar spike after eating.

Carbohydrates sometimes have a negative reputation, but that is changing as we become more knowledgeable about various types of starch.
When starches are digested, they usually degrade into glucose. Resistant starch does not raise glucose like traditional starches because it is not digested in the small intestine. Though each person’s body functions slightly differently, eating resistant starch may improve glucose tolerance and offer additional satiety (the sensation to be full).

We ship all of our orders Monday – Wednesday either FedEx Express or USPS Priority Mail. Most orders are received within 1 – 3 days after shipping. You will be notified via email when you order ships and when it is out for delivery.

Sometimes FedEx and USPS send out notifications prematurely that a package has been delivered. We ask that you give it 24 hours before contacting us. We will do what we can to track down your package.

Because of the increased volume that FedEx and USPS are experiencing, there will be instances where packages get delayed. If you should experience a delay, we ask that you send us pictures of your spoiled product. Provided that your product went bad as a result of a shipping delay, we will either replace or refund your purchase.
